  Radio Noida Promoting Unprivileged through Vigyan Club
 
The team of Radio Noida 107.4FM has established a social setup under the name and banner of ‘Vigyan Club’ to promote scientific education in villages and in slums of Noida with the help of Ministry of Science and Technology.

The idea is to uplift all those unprivileged students who are getting no opportunity to come forward in society” said Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios-a creative enterprise and Chairperson of Radio Noida “We want to bring them to better facilities whether its education, science classes, radio programs, computer and dance classes, health awareness or personality development” Marwah added.

  “I am taking personal interest in designing the whole program for these students from 15,16 and 17 sectors of Noida” said Brahm Parkash who has been visiting at slums to teach Radio Programs.

A special slot on Radio Noida has been sanctioned for the program prepared by the students from these areas. The activities are supported by International Children’s Film Forum.
   
  National Workshop on Sustainable Development & Eco Philosophy
 

“God has given us resources to use not to misuse” said Swami Pranavasuddhan Tapaswi, incharge Santhigiri Ashram, New Delhi while introducing the subject of Ecology to the large gathering at Teen Murti on the second day of National seminar on ‘Sustainable Development and Eco Philosophy’ organized by the Santhigiri Rearch Foundation.

‘The main cause of changing ecology is the rising population and changing technology” said Sandeep Marwah president of Marwah Studios and Dy General, Convenor Coordination Committee. “The ecology difference effects Water, soil, atmosphere and living things. All this can be handled individually, organizational way and by government” Marwah condensed.

Dr Rohan D’Souza, Professor project incharge, Centre for Science Policy JNU explained and talked about his detailed research on the subject giving some interesting statistics. Others who spoke on the subject were Dr C.V.Babu Dept. of philosophy, Zakir Hussain College. Dr C.R.Babu, Emiritus Professor Project incharge, Biodiversity parks, New Delhi chaired the program and conducted it as well. “Lets try to change the mind set of people and induce them to work on this side to have balanced natural resources which means non polluted air, clean water, stable land & mountains and long life for human beings and animals” he added.

DrK.Gopinathan Pillai Dy General Convenor, Advisoty Committee, A.V.Nair General Convenor, Coordination Committee were also present there .The program is supported by Radio Noida 107.4FM.

   
  Radio Noida Will Support Community Work
 

The management of Radio Noida 107.4FM now adding and supporting social activities in Noida. The byline of Radio Noida-APNA RADIO has extended the word APNA and started APNA SCHOOL, APNA SISHU SANSTHAN and APNI LIBRARY in the slums of Noda to give its whole hearted support to unprivileged children.

Inaugurating the Centre at sector seventeen Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios conveyed his feeling towards unprivileged children and said, “We will see to it that not only me and my family but all the media persons should realize their commitment and responsibility towards society and country” Marwah added “I am totally devoted towards the promotion of education and other facilities to young children who definitely deserve at least basic education”

 

Speaking on the occasion the Guest of honour and partner in promotion, the Director of Science and Technology department of Ministry of Science and Techonolgy, Government of India Anuj Sinha said, “we are with Radio Noida in this good job and would like to add on RADIO VIGYAN CLUB from this place so that better education of these children can take place.” which he later inaugurated from the slums.

Others who spoke on the occasion were Ashok Srivastava, R.K.Singh dean Asian School of Media Studies, Gurbir Garewwal, Jt Director Asian Academy of Film and Television, Nimish Kapoor Sr Scientist, Vigyan Prasar . Later Raghav Marwah creative head of Radio Noida thanked everybody for their cooperation.

The event is supported by International Children’s Film Forum, International Public Broadcasting forum, International film and television Club, International Film and television Research Centre.

   
  Radio Noida Supported Smile Foundation For Musical Show
 
Asian Academy of Film And Television & Radio Noida 107.4 joined hands with Smile Foundation as their Partners in progress for the event- 'Aashayein' - KK Live in Concert at Hamsdhwani Theatre, Pragati Maidan, New Delhi. This musical Journey with KK has been an effort of Smile Foundation to facilitate a better tomorrow for underprivileged children. The proceeds generated in the event will be utilized to educate more children under the Mission Education Program.
"Where there is a good motive in organizing an event, we try to be part of that program" said Sandeep Marwah, President Marwah Studios." Promoting Art and cultural is my Dharma" Marwah added.
KK one of the finest singers in Bollywood, with hits from films like Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani, All The Best, Tum Mile, Dil Bole Hadippa, Love Aaj Kal, New York, Bachna Ae Haseeno, Race and many more, enthralled the jam packed audience till the end of the show.
Smile Foundation works as a catalyst to change the lives of underprivileged children and youth and give them a better future through more than 100 education, healthcare, livelihood and girl child oriented programmes spread throughout India.
   
  International Children's Film Forum Joined Hands with Lioness Club
  The ICFF promoted by Marwah Studios and supported by education centers like AAFT,ASMS and ABS has joined hands with Lioness Club of Noida-Navsankalp to promote education and awareness for the unprivileged children through films.

Recently two medical camps were organized in Noida at Agahapur sec 41 and Barat Ghar sec 31 where not only people donated their blood, more than 100 patients were treated at no cost basis by the doctors of Kailash Hospital followed by screening of information and educational films by ICFF.

"I am in Lioness Club to help people, to promote all those who cannot afford, and educate people to live happily" said Veena Jaruhar President of Lioness Club. "My association with International Children's Film Forum is going to enhance our activities" Veena added.

  National Seminar on Opportunities and Challenges of Community Radio
 
Radio Noida 107.4FM in association with Asian Academy of Film and Television, Asian School of Media Studies, Asian Business School, International Children's Film Forum, IFTC, IFTRC, World Development Organization, COMCON, Media Lab Asia organized national seminar on the opportunity and challenges of running community radio.The seminar which was divided into four segments saw many prominent speakers from all over India who gave their point of views, suggestions, case studies, actual working and describe their problems. "I am proud to be associated with the group which believes in social work of the highest order" said Lt. Gen. K.M. Seth, the former Governor of Chattisgarh while inaugurating the seminar. "I have always believe in giving back my knowledge and my resources to Entertainment Industry to which I belong, India- the country I live in and Humanity without which we don't exist" said Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios. "

It was the third and the final day of 2nd Global Festival of Documentary Films 2009 at Marwah Studios where ample films had already been displayed for the documentary film makers, media, film and TV students, a huge international gathering was anxiously waiting for the .formal closing when a range of stars were brought to the stage to launch Radio Noida 107.4FM" It may be the closing ceremony of Global festival of films 2009 but it's the beginning of Non stop Radio Programs at our radio station RADIO NOIDA 107.4FM" said Sandeep Marwah, the President of Marwah Group of Creative Enterprises.

"I am happy that I am once again part of this new venture at Marwah Studios" said Sanjay Kapoor. I congratulate the whole team of Global Festival for their honest and hard work towards the promotion of our entertainment industry" he added "I have never seen this kind of International huge event at any film school, I admire the energy being generated at this campus" said Rahul Roy. "I feel this is the Golden Palace of Entertainment where every aspect of media is exchanged with the film, TV and Media students .

More than 600 participants present there converted the gala dinner into a musical show that evening.
